We are looking for a person who can lead by example, is excellent at engaging with customers in regard to helping them solve their issues and working as a part of our team of engineers, spreading their knowledge and contributing to improve the efficiency of the company.


Role Key Objectives

  • Be part of the company operational and support department helping deliver service excellence to customers and internal teams.
  • Engage with the customer and internal teams to present and deliver technical answers and solutions to problems.
  • Understand and deliver all technical aspects of the provided service offerings and work to become an SME in various technologies.
  • Produce technical FAQ’s and reference documents.
  • Investigate and implement automation, time-saving/efficiency tools and improvement approaches where possible.
  • Adhere to Cloud-Bridge’s Policies, Procedures, and Values.
  • Report on progress to internal and customer stakeholders


Essential Skills

  • Demonstrable AWS cloud engineer and implementation experience
  • Understanding of cloud services and infrastructure components (IAAS/PAAS)
  • Solid technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent documentation skills across technical and operational process areas
  • Strong time and task management with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in a customer-facing role
  • An engaging and 'can do' attitude.
  • Willingness to learn on the job.


Desirable Skills

  • At least 2 years of extensive background using AWS services
  • Current valid AWS Associate, Professional or Speciality certifications
  • Backup and disaster recovery experience to and/or within the cloud
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge on infrastructure as code (IaC) like Terraform and Cloud Formation
  • Operating system expertise on both Windows and Linux (CentoS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, Amzn Linux, etc.)
  • Ability to create scripts based on the following scripting languages (at least 1) - Shell, Python
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automations and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Exposure to other cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform or private clouds
  • Experience working within an IT Services or Managed Services provider
