We are working on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Platform and tokenization of money projects to shape and advance the future of money. We are looking for talented blockchain engineers to join this team. With the advent of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation in Europe, Crypto work is more relevant than ever. We are leading the way in compliant, secure digital currency exchange by launching several products. You will be contributing to the development of CBDC, tokenized deposits, and regulated stablecoin infrastructure, focusing on security, scalability, and interoperability with other payment systems. You will also be collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust smart contracts and applications.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain System Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are working on a wide range of block chain based financial solutions such as central bank digital currencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining blockchain-based systems and solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative blockchain technologies that drive our business objectives.


  • Over 3 years in software development, with at least 1 year focused on blockchain smart contract coding
  • Proficiency in smart contract development using Solidity at least one live deployed project on a mainnet EVM chain
  • Experience w/ smart contract, indexing, and offchain architecture to support a robust incentivized testnet campaign
  • BS in CS and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals
  • Previously held a prominent technical role at an established DeFi project
  • Experience with L2 deployments on EVM chains
  • Crosschain governance and DeFi application experience
  • By Month 3: Lead in the preparation of code for security reviews, ideate on new blockchain applications, mentor newcomers, and assist in the technical recruitment process


  • Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

  • Working in close partnership with our technical leadership, you'll be instrumental in deploying foundational blockchain contracts and enhancing our digital ecosystem
  • Craft and deploy smart contracts for key operations, including asset tokenization and user verification
  • Work alongside product teams to weave smart contract functionalities into our digital offerings
  • Architect and refine the backend for a high-performance incentivized testing environment and future blockchain standards

Preferred Skills

  • Previous work on significant blockchain projects or contributions to open-source blockchain initiatives.
  • Knowledge of financial services, payments, or cryptocurrency industries.

EES is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $172,800.00 - $230,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
