About the job
We are a small team of 18 people who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front-end developer to join our growing team. You will work closely with our development and product team and report directly to the CTO/Lead Developer and CPO.
The role is fully remote and candidates should be within 2 hours of GMT +1
Tasks
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using NextJS, Typescript, Storybook etc
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Creating reusable components with the help of Storybook.
- Implement automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of code.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinements, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Continuously improve development processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 2-3 years equivalent experience in the software development industry
- Proven experience as a Javascript/Typescript Developer or in a similar role within the software development industry.
- Good proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and their accossiated frameworks (NextJS, React, Vue etc).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
