Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and submission of Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFIs) 
  • Work closely with Project Managers during the proposal process to produce winning proposals 
  • Database Management
  • Track, log, and follow up on opportunities and leads
  • Maintain accurate project, employee, and client data in CRM database (Deltek Vantagepoint)
  • Coordinate with technical staff to update project records
  • Coordinate, draft, and edit proposals and Statement of Qualification (SOQ) documents using word processing techniques (i.e. document formatting, spell check, adhering to brand standards)
  • Facilitate go/no go decisions, strategy meetings, proposal kick-offs, and debrief meetings 
  • Conduct market research 
  • Perform other duties as requested 

Requirements

 All Candidate Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Business Administration, or other relevant field
  • 2-3 Years of proposal experience in the AEC consulting industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign
  • Outstanding communication (vocabulary, usage, structure, flow, grammar, punctuation) 
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, manage projects, and multitask 
  • Team player and can-do attitude  


Our Ideal Candidate  

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • General understanding of the engineering and consulting industry (geotechnical, environmental, water resources, construction) 
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign
