Description
The Distribution Specialist will:
- Be responsible for the accurate issuance, delivery, and restocking of inventory and non-stock items throughout the hospital.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies.
- Support shipping and receiving operations.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy of the Materials Management department.
- Play a critical role in ensuring hospital departments have the supplies they need to support patient care and daily operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in materials management, distribution, or warehouse operations (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick and distribute inventory.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with hospital staff and vendors.
- Ability to lift and move materials and supplies in accordance with job requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
