Distribution Specialist (Materials Management) - FT/80 presso Springfield Hospital, Inc

Description

The Distribution Specialist will:

• Be responsible for the accurate issuance, delivery, and restocking of inventory and non-stock items throughout the hospital. 
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies. 
• Support shipping and receiving operations. 
• Contribute to the overall cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy of the Materials Management department. 
• Play a critical role in ensuring hospital departments have the supplies they need to support patient care and daily operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in materials management, distribution, or warehouse operations (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick and distribute inventory.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with hospital staff and vendors.
• Ability to lift and move materials and supplies in accordance with job requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
