Step into an exciting leadership role at Cotton Logistics as we seek a visionary Procurement Director to lead our procurement initiatives enterprise-wide. In this influential position, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's procurement strategy and driving value across diverse service lines, including property restoration, construction, roofing, and logistical support. Additionally, you will work with the executive leadership team to execute strategic plans by optimizing vendor relationships, enhancing procurement processes, and developing innovative solutions to support the company's mission and vision.

What You'll Do
Vendor Management:
- Create and maintain a capabilities matrix for all vendors/subcontractors.
- Track centralized data points (contact information, payment terms, etc.).
- Develop key results reporting processes (service offering utilization, history, regional capabilities, capacity, quality, compliance).
- Develop a universal ranking system to evaluate vendors based on quality, price, and speed of delivery.
- Identify approved and non-approved vendors with explanations (contract and insurance issues, performance issues, etc.).
- Analyze current and potential vendors/suppliers/contractors to consolidate buying power and improve pricing.
- Provide KPI reporting to manage goals aligned with the organization’s vision.
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports for managerial review.
- Work with management to prioritize business needs.
- Identify bottom-line cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze P&L and project/client data.
- Negotiate favorable contracts with selected vendors/suppliers.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business, business administration, or accounting (MBA in supply chain management is advantageous).
- 5+ years of experience in a centralized procurement role.
- Experience in building out a procurement department or working in a robust procurement organization.
- Strategic Leadership: A dynamic leader with the ability to articulate and execute a visionary procurement strategy that aligns with the company's mission and ensures optimal value creation.
- Influence and Motivation: Possesses a high-energy and influential demeanor, capable of motivating and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve common procurement goals.

- Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, vendor management, and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate complex data sets with attention to detail and accuracy to drive procurement efficiency.
- Negotiation Prowess: Proficient negotiation skills to establish and nurture strategic partnerships, ensuring favorable contracts that significantly contribute to cost reduction and value creation.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of effectively conveying procurement strategies, market analysis, and vendor performance to internal and external stakeholders.
