Responsibilities
- Lead system development and vendor implementation efforts, from project initiation through post implementation support.
 - Act as the liaison between product owners, architects, development team members, trainers, testers, and analysts to build and maintain enterprise-level software solutions.
 - Responsible for working on all aspects of new applications development as well as vendor systems implementations: Planning, Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Quality Assurance, Training, Implementation, and on-ongoing Technical Support.
 - Work on the on-going enhancement and technical support of the existing IT application portfolio in Business Systems Delivery.
 - Work on day-to-day IT administrative tasks, problem solving, and issues resolution.
 - Oversee the governance and authorization of code modifications, migrations, and software releases.
 - Lead analyst for technology products or departmental portfolios. Develops strategic roadmaps, manage customer requests, analyzes business needs, and delivers solutions that drive long-term value.
 - Design documents, deliver subsystems, develop project plans for medium complexity projects, and develop business case including value analysis.
 - Coach and influence business managers in technology decisions. Engage with internal and external partners regularly to overcome blockers and develop efficient and widely usable products. Understands and anticipates the needs and requirements of business partners. Prepare and conduct regular status updates on moderate sized projects.
 - Manage incidents including timely and relevant communication. Triage problems, remediate, analyze root cause, and implement incident prevention using techniques such as Human Performance Improvement.
 - Proactively engage leadership at the manager and general manager levels.
 
Qualifications
- Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or
 - Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or
 - Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or
 - High School Diploma/GED Technical Certification in IT Technologies and a minimum of 7 years work experience in relevant field required.
 
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree and in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree.
 - Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree and with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
 
- Must be able to plan, organize and lead meetings. Must be able to translate functional to technical information. Must be able to develop documentation that will be consumed by users of diverse backgrounds and skills, required.
 - Must have excellent work ethics and integrity, required.
 - Must have ability to learn new technology as required for the job using documentation and other available resources, required.
 - Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget, required.
 - Must be able to transfer knowledge to peers and train subordinates, required.
 - Three (3+) years of experience with at least two (2) of the following technologies: Structured Query Language (SQL), such as Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL; Oracle RDBMS development (supported versions) or SQL Server development (supported versions); Business Analysis; Project Management, preferred.
 - Experience implementing packaged software, preferred.
 - Formal Project Management and/or Business Analysis skills, preferred.
 - Experience developing applications and/or databases, preferred.
 - Experience as a dedicated participant on a medium to large scale systems development project, preferred.
 - Experience supporting REST APIs, preferred.
 - Experience supporting off-the-shelf or Cloud based SaaS enterprise level applications, preferred.
 - Experience working with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Service Now, preferred.
 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
 - Project Demonstrated project management skills
 - Demonstrated analytical skills
 - Demonstrated problem solving skills
 - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
 
- Driver's License Required
 
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
 - Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
 - Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
