Description

 The sales coordinator role is key to driving revenue growth by promoting our golf course, group outings/tournaments, and private events. The coordinator will execute marketing strategies, support the sales team, manage digital communications, and ensure a consistent, positive brand presence.


Marketing 

Campaign Execution: Develop, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, print).

Digital Marketing: Manage and update the golf course website content, oversee email marketing campaigns (e.g., promotional newsletters, member updates), and assist with paid advertising (Google Ads, social media ads) efforts.

Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and encourage customer interaction.

Content Creation: Design and produce marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, digital signage, and in-house promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency.

Public Relations/Partnerships: Assist in developing relationships with local businesses, hotels, and community organizations to explore cross-promotional and partnership opportunities.

Sales Support & Lead Generation

Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to the Sales and Food & Beverage department, including leads, proposals, event orders, contracts, and other necessary materials.

Inquiry Management: Provide essential administrative support and organization for inbound sales inquiries (phone, email, in-person).

CRM & Database Management: Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and event management system to ensure data accuracy and support targeted outreach.

Lead Nurturing: Assist with lead qualification and follow-up activities to move prospects through the sales pipeline.


Event & Tournament Coordination

Detail Events: Gather essential details, contact information and event type. Create a detailed timeline, specify food and beverage requirements and dietary restrictions, select and detail menu with client, outline room setup and layout, define audio visual needs, and finalize financial requirements with client 

Marketing Events: Coordinate logistics for various promotional and club events to drive attendance and engagement.

Tournament and Private Event Support: Collaborate with the Events team to support the planning, logistics, and on-site execution of golf tournaments and private events.

Client Relations: Assist in managing communications with event clients from booking through execution, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.


Reporting & Analysis

Performance Tracking: Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives (e.g., social media reach, email open rates, website traffic, conversion rates).

Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management, to include marketing calendars, banquet event orders, change logs, pace reports, etc.

Market Research: Conduct basic market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities to improve the course's competitive position.



Requirements

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1 year of experience in a Sales, Marketing, or Coordinator role, preferably within the golf, hospitality, or leisure industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Digital Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of digital marketing concepts and platforms, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and website content management systems (CMS).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace. Experience with CRM software (Tripleseat, Canva) is a significant plus.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting and proofreading abilities.

Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Interpersonal Skills: A team player with a professional, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude.

Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events and tournament execution.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment.

Ability to occasionally stand, walk, or be on-site outdoors during events on the golf course for extended periods.
