How You’ll Make an Impact: 

You will manage the digital/laser printing and variable data processing, digital prepress setup, and all electronic laser and digital printing and quality control and in customer service. Manage all equipment related to digital printing.

In this Role, you will:

· Compose and coordinate appeal and thank-you letters using FusionPro for personalized laser printing in collaboration with the Advancement Department and Mission Press.

· Manage FusionPro templates: create, proof, and update letter copy, resources, rules, and formatting.

· Maintain, modify, and manipulate customer data for mail merges and other print interfaces.

· Prepare digital files for printing and operate Konica 6120 laser printers, Xerox VS280 color printer, and Xante printer to produce requested materials.

· Troubleshoot and adjust registration and print quality issues.

· Set up and merge documents with variable data in InDesign, ensuring compliance with USPS standards.

· Operate, maintain, and order supplies for all laser printing equipment, including Xerox VS280, Konica 6120s, and Xante printers.

· Operate and maintain finishing equipment such as drill punch, coil binder, Titan paper cutter, and Morgana folder.

· Initiate and follow up on service calls for digital printing equipment.

· Order stock for print projects and monitor inventory levels.

· Track paper stock for Mercy Home appeal and thank-you programs; notify customer service when reordering is needed.

· Conduct year-end inventory of Mission Press-owned digital paper stock.

· Serve as liaison between Mission Press and the Advancement Department to ensure accurate and detailed fulfillment of personalization requirements.

What we need from you:

· Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

· Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, PMS color systems, color correction, and mail piece design formats.

· Proficiency with Portfolio and FusionPro software, Xerox VS280 digital color printer, Konica 6120 laser printers, Xante color printer, and variable data printing tools.

· Experience in digital prepress and press setup, including Fiery and other relevant software.

· Advanced skills in database management and mail merge operations.

· Ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail and quality control.

· Skilled in producing, designing, proofreading, and updating print materials using Adobe, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite on both Mac and PC platforms.

· Demonstrated experience in customer service.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from staff and clients.

· Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

· Professional demeanor with sound judgment and decision-making skills.

· Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.

Basic Information / Schedule Details

Monday to Friday: 7am to 3:30pm

Pay: $25 to $30 Hourly, Full-Time
