The Philanthropy Operations Coordinator (Part-time) will work closely with the Philanthropy Operations, Philanthropy, and Finance Teams to coordinate and assist with Three Square’s donor relations, donation data entry, gift acknowledgements and additional philanthropy support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining confidential donor giving information; gift entry; communicating with and stewarding donors; and supporting the Philanthropy and Philanthropy Operations team in a variety of donor fundraising activities. Candidate must be a strong multi-tasker, have outstanding communication, interpersonal, research and writing skills, work well under general supervision, be extremely organized, and able to demonstrate gratitude to our donors, clients, and the overall mission of Three Square. Prior experience in a nonprofit fundraising position is preferred but not required. Requirements
Essential Job Functions
- Accurately entering in various types of donations into the organization donor database (DonorPerfect)
- Accurately and actively manage and maintain confidential donor information.
- Execute data control duties to ensure data meets financial reporting guidelines.
- Assist with preparing and executing donor stewardship materials including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, and other communications and forms of gratitude via phone, email and mail
- Answer and respond timely to telephone, email, and mail inquiries from donors.
- Assist in donor research.
- Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern Three Square’s business.
- Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Assist in the cultivation of all donors.
- Regular and consistent attendance

Qualifications
Experience and Education
This position requires high school diploma, strong attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of non-profit services and donor interaction is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop reports and give presentations. Preferred knowledge of Donor Perfect or other CRM software.
Skills/Abilities
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Donor Perfect (or relevant CRM) database experience preferred.

- Must possess outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Working Environment
Work is typically performed in an office environment while sitting at a computer screen for extended periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts when working with office machines. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms when working with documents, files, computers, or office machines. This position requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions, exposure to sounds and noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Employee must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening.
