What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Analyze aerial and satellite-based photography and processed imagery for various applications
  • Conduct accuracy assessments and create derived products such as planimetric features
  • Work with fixed-wing, UAS, and satellite-sourced data, including multispectral and LIDAR data
  • Perform surface model creation, digital aerial triangulation analysis, and thematic map accuracy assessments
  • Utilize artificial intelligence for image object detection and land cover classification

What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Experience in aerial and satellite imagery interpretation and analysis
  • Proficiency with UAS and fixed-wing data sources
  • Familiarity with LIDAR data and related technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of statistical sampling design and analysis

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with artificial intelligence applications in image analysis
  • Background in environmental science or related fields
  • Familiarity with advanced imagery processing techniques
  • Knowledge of thematic mapping and land cover classification methodologies
