Job Title:
Full-Stack Developer – Engineering Data and Systems in Dimensional Management

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that visualize and manage engineering and test data.
• Develop front-end dashboards and interfaces for real-time monitoring, model predictions, and reporting (e.g., equipment health, performance trends).
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and data scientists to integrate predictive and simulation models into production-ready tools.
• Set up and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) for structured storage of sensor, test, and simulation data.
• Support software architecture decisions ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of engineering applications.
• Implement and maintain DevOps/MLOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.
• Host and create technical forums to foster collaboration between software and mechanical engineering teams.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Mechanical Domain: Understanding of CAD, GD&T, and tolerance simulations (preferred).
• Programming Languages: C#, Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), Node.js, JavaScript, C++.
• Frontend Development: React, Vue, or Angular.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Software Architecture: Strong understanding of API design, data flow, and scalable systems.
• Data Handling: Experience working with engineering/scientific data such as CSV files, time series, and sensor logs.
• DevOps Tools: Git, Docker, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins, basic Kubernetes or cloud deployment.
• Soft Skills: Strong collaboration and communication in multidisciplinary teams; ability to think innovatively and bridge mechanical and digital engineering concepts.
• Experience Range: 3–8 years in software development, preferably in the mechanical/automotive domain.


Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications (if any): Cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps, or Full-Stack Development certifications are desirable.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• Familiarity with automotive or mechanical engineering workflows, especially tolerance management and simulation data.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models or predictive analytics tools into production systems.
• Exposure to global collaboration environments and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Daimler systems, data structures, or internal engineering tools (preferred but not mandatory).
