Hall & Evans is offering a unique opportunity for a Talent Sourcing Specialist with sourcing / recruitment experience working in a law firm to join our Las Vegas office. This position holds the crucial responsibility of identifying, sourcing, and conducting candidate interviews for diverse positions for the Las Vegas office and other offices across the organization. These staffing duties encompass addressing temporary requirements, filling growth-related roles, and facilitating replacement hiring for professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, across all our office locations.
- Engage in close collaboration with the Legal Recruiter to meticulously assess our staffing requirements, discern the most effective recruitment strategies, and execute a talent acquisition procedure designed to allure well-qualified candidates for the available position(s);
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously with drive, follow-through, and creativity;
- Sourcing candidates using social media platforms, utilizing web-based search engines and temporary agencies (as needed), and representing the Firm with local college campus recruitment fairs;
- Build the talent pipeline across cross-functional teams by sourcing passive candidates, placing calls, pre-screening applicants, and leveraging internal referrals;
- Participate in the interview process by screening resumes and partnering with the Legal Recruiter and the practice area Members on candidate selection for interviews and hiring selection;
- Support and assist with scheduling candidates for interviews;
- Manage and monitor new hire’s onboarding process;
- Facilitate weekly New Hire Orientation and office tour, when required;
- Collaborate with the Legal Recruiter to develop job descriptions;
- Participate in recruitment events by developing relationships with local resources such as non-profits who assist candidates with careers, job centers, local diversity bars, etc.;
- Assist with the diversity intern programs and unpaid internships for college credit or unpaid experience-only intern opportunities within the Firm, and;
- Participate in local bar associations and universities for recruitment purposes where available.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Working knowledge of all state and federal laws governing all aspects of talent acquisition;
- Ability to work well in a team while also handling individual responsibilities;
- Ethical in all actions personally and professionally;
- Strong work ethic and lead by example;
- Diversity and cultural awareness;
- Effective leadership and initiative skills;
- Ability to present total rewards to candidates, including salary, benefits, Firm culture, etc., in a compelling way;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Strong knowledge of standard sourcing practices utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter Seat and Indeed, preferred;
- Legal recruitment experience in the Las Vegas market, required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday: may be required to work flexible hours beyond regular work hours when necessary;
- A hybrid work schedule is offered with two days at home and three days in the office;
