We’re looking for a Specification Support Co-ordinator who will provide technical and administrative support to the UK and Ireland Commercial Sector team to enhance Kerakoll’s service offering to specifiers and contractors. Reporting to the Head of Specification, the role will be varied and include technical functions such as the creation of drawings on AutoCAD, interpreting technical requirements to provide product recommendations and the writing of construction product specifications (e.g. NBS) and other technical documents for Architects and contractors. Additional administrative functions will include the booking, arranging and follow-up of Kerakoll technical CPD seminars for Architectural practices, co-ordinating sample requests, updating online platforms and assisting with the tracking and reporting of projects via the company CRM. It is expected that the role will collaborate across the Technical Department, Product Marketing and Traditional Sales Team. Responsibilities

What You’ll be Doing at Kerakoll 

  • Receiving and interpreting technical information from the Commercial Sector team and wider business which require the creation of written specification or recommendation documents. 

  • Providing written product recommendations and specifications, based on Kerakoll products and systems (training provided). 

  • Creating CAD details based on information provided by the Commercial Sector team and other departments. 

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain product, site and design information.  

  • Collaborating across internal technical, product marketing and sales functions to provide support. 

  • Logging of documents on company database, issuing of documents to internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Conducting phone and email communication activity to specifiers to promote and arrange the Kerakoll range of CPD seminars  

  • Sending samples to customers/specifiers and log on a central company database 

  • Reporting to Head of Specification on KPIs such as number of sample requests, number of specifications issued, project statuses, number of CPD bookings created & undertaken.

Qualifications

What you’ll Bring to Kerakoll 

  • Architectural/Construction qualification, ideally at HND/Degree level. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create professionally written documents 

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office to a good standard, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. 

  • Proficient in use of Auto CAD to create 2D and 3D construction drawings (primarily 2D section drawings) 

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills 

  • Ability to communicate in a professional, yet friendly manner, via both written and verbal means 

  • Ability to work across departments and with different stakeholders 

  • Experience in a related construction profession or environment desirable
