Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic AVP to join our Global Revenue Management department. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Commercial Services team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role 

Under the guidance of leadership, this person will be responsible for using their analytics expertise in providing a variety of tasks in the form of, but not limited to:

  • Define and lead the strategic vision, execution, and continuous advancement of Hyatt’s Global RM & Distribution Analytics function, proactively identifying innovative opportunities to significantly enhance financial performance, market penetration, and revenue growth.

  • Direct and oversee Hyatt Global RM & Distribution’s comprehensive analytics business processes and products utilized across corporate and property levels, ensuring accuracy, relevance, usability, and continual enhancement aligned with organizational needs.

  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and delivery of sophisticated analytics, performance insights, and strategic recommendations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and senior executive leadership meetings, ensuring clear communication of insights and actionable strategies.

  • Oversee the development and deployment of comprehensive databases, advanced analytics programs, and intelligent applications designed to automate corporate- and property-level revenue audits, analytics workflows, and report generation, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Foster strategic collaboration with key leaders within Commercial Services, Information Technology, and other corporate departments to streamline analytics processes, maximize system integration, and ensure effective project collaboration and resource alignment.

  • Provide visionary leadership in designing and implementing new analytical tools, system enhancements, and reporting functionalities, leveraging advanced data science techniques and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the industry.

  • Oversee and ensure effective automation of data collection, storage, integration, distribution, and advanced manipulation from diverse corporate systems to support sophisticated analytics, insightful reporting, and proactive decision-making.

  • Champion the design and deployment of innovative analytical solutions and automated reporting tools to empower corporate and property teams with timely, accurate, and actionable insights.

  • Apply expert-level revenue management business acumen, sophisticated data science methodologies, and cutting-edge technology practices to elevate analytical capabilities, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making throughout Hyatt’s revenue management community.

  • Remain at the forefront of industry trends, innovations, and best practices within the travel, analytics, and hospitality technology landscape, proactively leveraging new insights to maintain Hyatt’s competitive edge.

  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve critical business processes, systems, data integrity, and analytical tool issues, leading continuous improvements to support optimal revenue management performance.


Experience Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years of hospitality revenue management analytics experience or related analytical field.

  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook.

  • Technical proficiencies in database programming languages like SQL.

  • Technical proficiencies in business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience using software as a service applications and technology proficiencies

  • Proven ability to project a professional image and shown capability of working independently.

  • Track record of good judgment and critical thinking.

  • Ability to manage multiple, and at times competing, projects.

  • Experience leading teams of technical analysts.

Experience Preferred:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, analytics or a related field

  • Master’s degree in business administration, technology, hospitality, or a related field

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000.  This role is also eligible for the Annual Incentive Plan, Long-Term Incentive Plan & Deferred Compensation Plan.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.  Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
