PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Winco Sales is a collaborative environment that builds on each team member’s unique strengths and provides opportunities to learn and grow. In this role, you will be a vital part of our Customer Relations Team, ensuring the functional systems of new generator sets meet project expectations This includes specifying major components, calculating performance, and overseeing the project through completion.
JOB INTERACTIONS AND INTERFACE
This role interacts with staff in all departments as necessary.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, Collect and Prioritize new product ideas Develop the generator system specs w/ customer input and feedback
- Spec major components of gensets including engine, alternator, controls, for new product lines
- Produce sales and service part numbers and maintain products through improvement initiatives
- Participate in Winco Product Development Committee
- Create tech support documents for Bid specs
- Develop concept models and test plans
- Oversee project as it flows through the process
- Provide technical product and application support to sales and service teams
- Provide technical field support to customers and conduct technical field work to identify customer needs
- Assist in in building training fixtures and developing/ assisting in giving training courses for customer trainings
- Work to exceed WINCO’s quality and safety standards
- Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Basic 3D CAD Modelling and 2D detail drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience in programming and implementing controls (Deep Sea preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Mechanical aptitude
- Electrical controls
- 2-year degree in engineering, electrical or engine-related field or simi Legal Authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
