GENERAL PURPOSE
Molloy University seeks a strategic, creative, and collaborative manager of Communications Content Strategy to assist with the development and execution of integrated content strategies that elevate the University’s brand, support institutional priorities, and drive engagement across key audiences. This role will oversee content planning and production across digital, print, and social media platforms, with a special focus on supporting development and fundraising communications.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in higher education communications and fundraising, a strong editorial voice, and a data-informed approach to storytelling that inspires action and builds affinity among prospective students, alumni, donors, and the broader community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic content coordination and planning across all Advancement departments and platforms.
- Craft content for development and fundraising communications and platforms.
- Leverage analytics to advise on and optimize content performance.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on brand story telling –channel and content.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Communications or related field)
- 1 to 3 years of work-related experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT
- Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $65,000 to $68,000. This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
