- Act as the liaison between the Bilingual Department and Assessment Department in determining dates and schedules for mandated bilingual testing
- Responsible for ordering of materials for ACCESS testing and native language testing
- Ensures that all testers and testing proctors are properly certified to administer mandated tests
- Ensures that all ELs are identified to take the annual ACCESS testing
- Ensures that all assessment materials sent to schools are returned
- Ensures that electronic scoring are sent to schools when they become available
- Responsible for bilingual eSchool data entry
- Responsible for eSchool data retrieving, state reports, and administrative reports
- Demonstrates the ability to create and manipulate data efficiently in Excel
- Prepares forms, charts, tables and spreadsheet reports as required
- Ensures that all staff data information is entered correctly in the ceiling calculator
- Provides guidance to the Welcome Center and other facilities during registration period
- Conducts a yearly audit of bilingual folders (Green Folders). This also includes Charter, and Private and Parochial Schools
- Maintains an updated building count of students in both TBE and TPI programs
- Responsible for communication with various departments and school buildings
- Maintains and updates equipment inventory for each bilingual teacher
- Must keep all timelines established
- Maintains a list of waived students
- Ensures that the list of two year monitoring of transitioned students is accurate.
- Communicates with Executive Director of Bilingual on a weekly basis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word Advanced level programs including Access, Excel and Power Point.
- RPS eSchool data system
- This position requires the use of MS Excel and MS Access to collect data for student reports and state annual testing. Advanced computer knowledge and experience working with data collection are required.
- Able to produce multi-page reports, and forms, able to use multiple software packages, operate standard spreadsheet programs, and create PowerPoint presentations as requested.
- Knowledgeable of district Bilingual programming and assessment procedures of ELL students and be able to interpret test scores and problem solve with District Administration and the state.
- Must demonstrate excellent skills and competency in the following areas: organization, data technical, confidentiality, problem solving, and leadership.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- The Bilingual Data Supervisor should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Advanced time management skills required

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Under supervision of the Executive Director of Bilingual Services, will supervise the dissemination of annual assessments for bilingual students district-wide, the state mandated ACCESS test, and the approved native language assessment. Will supervise and ensure that English Learner student records are up-to-date according to state program requirement, also supervise internal and external data collection of English Learner students.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
