POSITION SUMMARY:

The YMCA of Southern Nevada is looking for a reporting and compliance coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the organization with grant management and reporting. Successful candidates will be highly organized and process-focused individuals with great attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines; and strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.  This is a part-time in-person position located at the Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA (4141 Meadows Lane). You will work between 10 and 20 hours per week within the window of Monday – Friday during normal business hours.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop grant implementation plans and template documents that align with grantor reporting, invoicing, and program compliance requirements. 
  • Train and audit staff on adherence to implementation plans.  
  • Gather, review, and track financial and program data to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Leverage software to download reports and present data in digestible formats. 
  • Submit and track grant invoices from collected financial data. 
  • Submit program reports from collected program data. 
  • Attend grantor trainings and meetings. 
  • Collect required documentation from program staff to ensure compliance with periodic funsing audits, and serve as the primary liaison between the program staff and the funder during audit processes. 
  • Track the spenddown of funds, provide monthly updates to program staff, and collaborate with them on solutions to ensure fully and timely utilization of funding. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for grant-related administrative portals 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 

 

END RESULTS: 

  • Accurate and timely grant reporting and invoicing. 
  • Accurate, timely, and digestible reporting to meet association needs. 
  • Compliant spend down and stewardship of grant funds.  
  • Positive grantor relationships and audit results. 
  • Effective collaboration with program staff that leads to understanding of grant compliance and timely receipt of financial and program data.  

 

ABUSE RISK MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS (Front Line)

  • Adhere to policies related to boundaries with children.
  • Attend required abuse risk management training.
  • Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.

Qualifications


 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree from a community college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to use a computer efficiently and learn new software programs with ease.    
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and bookkeeping. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • American Red Cross CPR/ First Aid for Professional Rescuers Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum age of 18
