As Marketing Coordinator for the Cleary Company, you will serve as both the first point of contact for prospective clients and a key driver of our marketing efforts. Approximately half of your weekly time will be dedicated to lead intake—capturing, qualifying, and scheduling new opportunities with our Project Developers to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience. The other half will focus on executing marketing initiatives, including social media, content creation, events, photo shoots, award submissions, and community engagement. With an eye for design and a passion for communications, you’ll help position the Cleary Company as central Ohio’s premier residential remodeling partner.

Responsibilities

Lead Intake & Client Care

· Manage inbound sales leads, including callbacks and initial client communications.

· Enter and track new leads in Buildertrend, maintaining accurate data and notes.

· Schedule qualified sales leads with the appropriate Project Developer, balancing calendars and workload.

· Conduct initial research on leads, including client demographics, neighborhood/project data, and home details.

· Maintain and update referral list for leads not aligned with company criteria.

· Provide timely updates on lead pipeline activity to Marketing Manager and Project Developers.

· Deliver a white-glove customer experience by coordinating thank-you notes, gifts, and follow-up communications.


Social Media & Content

· Create, schedule, and publish consistent, engaging content across social platforms based on social strategy set by Marketing Manager.

· Source and curate visual assets from project archives, field teams, and photo shoots.

· Draft compelling captions that reflect our brand voice and design expertise.

· Track performance metrics and recommend optimizations.

· Maintain up-to-date content on clearycompany.com and all online profiles (WordPress experience preferred).


Website, Blog & Email

· Partner with Marketing Manager and external vendors on updates, SEO, and performance improvements.

· Draft, format, and publish blog posts highlighting projects, trends, and company updates.

· Build and distribute monthly newsletters and segmented email campaigns.


Event Coordination

· Support planning and execution of company events, client open houses, home tours, and community activities.

· Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, invitations, photography, promotional materials, and on-site support.

· Capture and share event highlights for marketing use.


Photo & Video Shoots

· Coordinate scheduling of professional project photography and video shoots.

· Prepare shot lists and ensure project sites are photo-ready (styling, staging, clean-up).

· Liaise with designers, clients, and photographers to capture high-quality assets.

· Manage digital asset library for use across campaigns.


Awards & Recognition

· Assist in preparing submissions for local and national industry awards.

· Collaborate with colleagues to collect project information, images, and testimonials to showcase the company’s best work.


Philanthropy & Community Engagement

· Support the Cleary Company’s philanthropic initiatives and community events throughout the year, including planning, promotion, and on-site coordination.

· Partner with the Marketing Manager to highlight community involvement through social media, newsletters, and press opportunities.

· Ensure alignment between charitable activities and brand storytelling, showcasing the Cleary Company’s culture of care.


Reporting & Administration

· Track and report on marketing activities, lead data, and campaign performance.

· Provide updates for weekly marketing and leadership meetings.

· Support phone coverage and general office administration as needed.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, with 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.

· Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital and print platforms.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

· Skilled in social media strategy and execution (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other emerging social platforms).

· Experience coordinating events (planning, logistics, vendor communication, on-site support).

· Comfort in directing and assisting with photo/video shoots (styling, shot lists, coordinating photographers, managing assets).

· This is a full-time, in-office position based at the Cleary Company, requiring presence five days per week

· Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Teams.

· Positive, professional, and eager to learn.


Preferred Skills

· Familiarity with residential interior design, architecture, or remodeling trends.

· Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred).

· Knowledge of SEO, website management (WordPress experience preferred), and analytics tools.

· Experience with ChatGPT and other AI-based marketing or workflow tools.

· Basic photo/video editing skills.
