Overall Purpose of the Job

12 month Fixed Term Contract providing maternity cover

Supporting the Subsea Projects function, our new Project Coordinator will be responsible for global project delivery in support of the subsea product line. We have a requirements for a Project Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating and supporting various project activities, across the Subsea product line incluidng from time to time, the provision of support to Sales, Group Engineering and/or Operating Regions, for certain project activities. The Project Coordinator will also assist in the free flow of information between departments and actively participate, as a member of the project team, in improving departmental efficiency, sharing customer experiences and assisting in improving the quality of the end product and service

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Coordination of the controls on project activities, utilising recognised project control techniques
  • Maintain clear, constructive & positive communication with other internal departments, ensuring that projects are completed effectively with minimal disruption to planned events.
  • Assist the Project Manager is the gathering of information and compilation of reports
  • Coordinate & process material requisitions through SAP & liaising with global supply chain management throughout the procurement process.  Raise internal documentation as required for purchase, transfer or movement of project materials
  • Assisting the Planner with the maintenance of the Project Schedule & advise of any changes that may affect the delivery schedule
  • Set-up & maintain project files & records
  • Compile & maintain the Material Tracking Register, updating cost & schedule data to ensure timely delivery of materials & services
  • Co-ordinate and progress other project activities as required

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in a multi-disciplined team
  • Previous experience in some form of task coordinating activity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experiend of project work within an oil & gas environment would be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook & Teams)
  • Working experience of SAP, MSProject & Primavera would be an advantage
