QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Operations Research Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3/5/7 Support Services contract.

Duties: 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact and manager for all activities related to the Army Cyberspace Council (ACyC) and the Army Cyber Risk Management Council (ACRMC), the General Officer Steering Committee (GOSC), the Council of Colonels (CoCs), and associated working groups. 
  • Serve as the Division Task Tracker, documenting all meetings with agendas and minutes, and distributing approved Executive Summaries (EXSUMs) to the Community of Interest within 24 hours.
  • Coordinate with the Army for equities within the ACyC and ACRMC Charters, in accordance with division and directorate guidance. 
  • Support the implementation of the Army’s Cyberspace Strategy by providing day-to-day input, management, and implementation support to both the ACyC and the ACRMC.
  • Coordinate all classified and unclassified sessions – including VTCs and Microsoft Teams meetings – and manage associated logistics (room scheduling).
  • Maintain the Cyberspace Operations and Army Risk Management Community of Interest (COI) contact list and disseminate meeting notifications, agendas, and read-ahead materials on both NIPR and SIPR networks (slides, excel, distribution lists).
  • Manage all ETMS-2 tasks assigned to the Division by assigning to the appropriate office/person, ensuring timely completion IAW task assignments, and maintain the division task tracker list in Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist the Deputy Division Chief in managing daily update briefs, reports to the Directorate, and coordination/collaboration meetings with stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate the development of project plans and timelines with the Deputy Division Chief.
  • Plan, Coordinate, and Execute ACyC and ACRMC Governance Forums.
  • Maintain running estimates for the division and branch, track project milestones, and facilitate communication between Action Officers and the Deputy Chief.
  • Prepare for quarterly off-site briefings to establish short, mid, and long-term priorities, maintain the Division Introductory “101” briefing, and conduct weekly Cyberspace Operations Update Briefings.
  • Review, format and prepare the submission of Situational Reports (SITREPs) to the SOC Division chief.

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.  
  • Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.    
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.  
  • Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.  
  • Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool).
  • Ability to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication. 
  • Ability to provide executive, technical, and administrative support to senior leaders. 
  • Experience with Multinational, Interagency on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands in Policy, Bi-lateral exchanges, proficient in planning and execution of working groups. 
  • Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to perform duties. 
  • Ability to assist with drafting Army EXORDs, FRAGOs, meeting minutes and EXSUMs and strategic documents.                

Required Clearance: 

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required.  
  • At least ten (10) years of related experience preferred. 

Travel: 

Limited travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment: 

This position is temporarily located in Crystal City, VA. This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).

  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
