Position Summary:

  

The Data Management Administrator & Analyst will perform various tasks that include managing and updating the Church CRM, ensuring data integrity and following all Data Management processes and procedures. The Data Management Administrator & Analyst will also assist with data migrations as well as managing the day-to-day operations of Salesforce, matching giving donations to the correct donors and by merging duplicates, to ensure data is complete and accurate. The Data Management Administrator & Analyst is primarily responsible for the training and managing permissions of users in the various systems. They will perform various tasks that include data migrations, creating analytics dashboards using Business Intelligence tools, and ensuring the data held within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is complete and accurate. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of Church-Wide systems via user management and permissions, offering training and training materials to all users, and helping to identify any needed fixes and updates for the system
  • Employs high attention to detail to manage people and family records in CRM to ensure accurate and clean data, including updating their information, and reconciling duplicates in the system
  • Manage established processes in CRM to ensure that proper set up of the system is in place, items are routed to users appropriately, and performs quarterly system and user audits.
  • Assist in managing support tickets and requests to help manage tasks and projects by helping implement fixes and solutions to reported problems in a timely manner and with good customer service.
  • Assist in gathering and refining requirements from stakeholders to build systems and solutions utilizing various systems to meet the organization’s goals
  • Assist in managing CRM systems to track and report on performance relative to goals and develop improvement action plans
  • Build and manage Dashboards utilizing Salesforce Reports, Google Data Studio, and Power BI to track the performance of the organization for various department heads and leadership
  • Perform Data modeling where necessary to enable BI development
  • Perform data migration projects from other systems/applications into Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and completeness
  • Manage tech solutions for ministries using platforms and software such as Salesforce, Connections, StudioC, Active Campaign, Planning Center, HelpScout, Twilio, Form Assembly, etc.
  • Help manage contractor and vendor agreements, budgets, invoices, etc.
  • Stay knowledgeable on the latest advancements in technology and data systems as well as releases for existing systems
  • Assist in coordinating the work of teammates to accomplish CRM, Business Intelligence, or Data management objectives
  • Daily update progress, planned work, and roadblocks in project management software.
  • Design, build, and configure applications that are highly functional, scalable, and easily maintained.
  • Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
  • Increase data integrity by consolidating business rules across multiple channels into one business layer using SOA architecture.
  • During giving statement season, will be available to help with end of year giving reconciliation alongside the Data Manager to ensure that Annual Giving Statements will be sent out on time.

Requirements

  

Job-related Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

  • 2-4 years experience as a Database Administrator or Business Analyst 
  • Previous experience in tech solutions and training
  • Previous experience in project management
  • Customer service experience required experience with managing and troubleshooting databases 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Business Information Systems or related field

Organizational and Spiritual Requirements:

  • Contributing member of the Rock Church (or willing to transfer membership to the Rock Church).

  • Successful completion of a thorough pre-employment references and background checks, which includes: social security verification, Local, State & Federal criminal conviction records search, national security database, and sex offender registry.
  • Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services, as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
  • Regular involvement in Rock Church activities, ministries, and events.
  • Tithe 10% to the Rock Church.
  • Signed acknowledgment of the Rock’s Statement of Faith.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to the Rock’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Be self-motivated and goal-oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
