The Opportunity:

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for design and communication? In this role, you’ll take the lead in conceptualizing, managing, and producing original marketing and multimedia projects that support Enrollment Management and Student Financial Services. From eye-catching graphics to compelling web content, you’ll bring your ideas to life across a variety of platforms.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping our public relations and communication strategies. Your writing, editing, and content creation skills will help craft newsletters, news releases, brochures, social media posts, and more—all aligned with our department’s goals and voice.

Beyond creative work, you’ll support our client service and communication efforts, helping students navigate financial aid and scholarship processes. Your understanding of award adjustments, professional judgment, and needs analysis will make a real difference in students’ lives.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary: $4,061.00 - $6,092.00 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing or other relevant field AND either two (2) years of professional experience in print OR broadcast news media, public relations, marketing including the use of electronic media or two (2) years of other relevant professional experience.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel programs.

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, and Querying using SQL.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in relevant field.

  • Background in media and/or public information industries.

  • Experience working in a higher education setting.

  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.

  • Experience using SLATE CRM.
