The Role

As Technical Administrator, you’ll support the Technical and Quality teams by managing documentation, coordinating audits, and maintaining systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.

Note: This is a fixed term role, expected to continue until 31st March 2026

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with:
  • Previous experience in a technical or quality admin role (ideally in food manufacturing).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and technical terminology.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update technical documentation and records (e.g. specifications, certificates, audits).
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with traceability and product recall procedures.
  • Manage supplier approval documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and report on non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Maintain databases and systems for quality and compliance tracking.
  • Liaise with production, quality, and technical teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Support the implementation of food safety and quality standards (e.g. BRC, HACCP).
  • Collate and submit customer documentation and questionnaires.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Technical department.
