How You’ll Make an Impact: 

You will promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement driven by evidence; lead the Agency’s Quality Improvement processes and systems; lead the evaluation of program outcome achievement, maintain and optimize the Agency’s CRM/database.

 In this Role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of a planned, systematic evaluation of Mercy Home’s Admissions, Residential, and Community Care programs, including quarterly reports, a mid-year report, and culminating in a comprehensive annual program evaluation report. 
  • Execute statistical analysis of Residential program outcomes and impact, including the use of pre-post testing and longitudinal cohort design. 
  • Work with program teams to design and implement evaluation frameworks, including outcomes and performance indicators, and data collection plans. 
  • Serve as primary Administrator of the Agency’s CRM/database. 
  • Collaborate with program staff to collect, input and validate data related to services, referrals and care management. 
  • Develop and enforce data entry standards and protocols for staff. 
  • Train staff on database usage, reporting tools and data best practices. 
  • Troubleshoot database issues and liaise with IT or external vendors to resolve technical problems. 
  • Ensure data privacy and security, especially for sensitive youth and family information, in compliance with legal and ethical standards. 
  • Lead the design and execution of long-term outcomes evaluation for the Residential program, including the post-residential survey design and the development and testing of research hypotheses using statistical methods. 
  • Develop, revise, and maintain all policies and procedures related to Evaluation and Quality Improvement. 
  • Design and/or implement evaluation tools including surveys and assessments. 
  • Design and manage data dashboards for Mercy Home’s youth-serving teams using PowerBI.   
  • Design and oversee the Agency’s stakeholder feedback processes, including youth and guardian surveys. 
  • Design and oversee agency-wide QI procedures and activities, including quarterly QI data analysis, reporting, and review, and the execution of improvement projects. 
  • Convene and facilitate agency-wide QI meetings. 
  • Promote the use of data to improve Agency functioning, achievement of outcomes, and organizational learning. 
  • Effectively communicate data and outcomes to multiple audiences, internal and external. 
  • Manage relationships with representatives from departments across Mercy Home. 
  • Maintain own professional development and professional networks to support continuous learning. 
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Vice President – Organizational Development or COO. 

 

What we need from you:

  • Master’s degree, in the social sciences, analytical field, or other similar field. 
  • Experience in the nonprofit or social sectors. 
  • Understanding of youth development and human development concepts. 
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis methods. 
  • Proficiency in advanced evaluation methods and principles. 
  • Competency in basic research principles. 
  • Experience working with or creating logic models, theories of change, key performance indicators, or other evaluation and measurement frameworks. 
  • Experience designing surveys. 
  • Experience analyzing data sets and communicating findings. 
  • Ability to depict data visually and facilitate conversations about data with a variety of audiences. 
  • Ability to critically read and analyze research and published data objectively. 
  • Dedication to professional growth and skill building in self and others. 
  • Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with others. 
  • Ability to supervise and manage others. 
  • Ability to break down projects into manageable steps and organize people and projects to accomplish a goal. 
  • Ability to analyze organizational systems and processes. 
  • Experience in different presentation/facilitation settings: one-on-one, small groups, and large groups. 
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges as the needs of the department evolves. 
  • Open and respectful of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients and is willing and competent to work with a diverse client population, including implications of working with data collected about these clients. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. 
  • Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and statistical analysis software such as R or SPSS strongly preferred. 

Basic Information / Schedule Details

Pay: $75,000-$90,000 Annually

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility for up to 2 days working remotely
