Job Description

Purpose

Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct. Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis. Capable of training others on tasks. Make recommendations for equipment improvements or new technologies which may improve reliability or efficiency.
Responsible for meeting time commitments and following priorities based on maintenance and production schedules with limited supervision. Assists in ensuring that GMP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and always maintained.
Perform documentation practice in CMMS systems Maximo, SAP, Footprint to ensure work orders are documented. Communicates work orders, projects, tasks, etc. ahead of time and seek approval before initiating.
Provides off-hours support during emergencies/disasters and projects requiring non-business hours supervision/coordination 24-7/365 support. Weekend work and other duties may be applied

Qualifications

Qualifications

HS diploma with 10+ years’ experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ years’ experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ years’ experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
