Job Description

This role is within Supply Chain Operations, coordinating and leading cross-functional processes to ensure accurate production against Patient supply demand. Responsible for coordinating assigned aspects of an Operations Brand or Program to align it with AbbVie’s business goals and strategic imperatives.   This role requires active contributions to the development and implementation of effective product strategies and brand plans, encompassing product launches, site transfers, security of supply, cost improvements, and risk and lifecycle management. Responsible for aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities and developing contingency plans.

 

Responsibilities:

•Drive the assigned Operations Brand Program projects to ensure timely decisions that significantly impact Brand sales, assurance of supply, and operational performance, while leading negotiations, creating brand plans, and managing lifecycle transitions to impact financial outcomes effectively.

•Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to align strategic brand initiatives with broader business goals and objectives.

•Lead discussions on brand impact during Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions with cross-functional partners such as ME&C, Planning, Finance, and Commercial, while aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities and developing contingency plans.

•Create a viable Brand plan, financial plan, Long-Range Planning (LRP), risk management and Lifecycle strategies.   Justify and ensure alignment with AbbVie’s business goals and strategic imperatives.

•Primary interface with Commercial to align brand strategies, ensuring consistent brand messaging and market adaptation. Remain current on internal and external factors impacting their Brand/Product(s).

•Engage with the Pipeline team to coordinate the brand implications of new drug introductions, integrating insights into brand strategies and operational plans.

•Work closely with Clinical Drug Supply Management to ensure brand strategies align with clinical operational needs, guaranteeing readiness and resource availability.

•Coordinate with PPDST and Asset Strategy Teams to leverage data insights, aligning brand strategies with asset developments.

•Utilize strong analytical skills to inform decision-making processes and storytelling through data, enhancing brand effectiveness and organizational efficiency.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Chemical Engineering or similar desired  

•A minimum of 7 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, and / or Financial Management.

•Previous Operations experience preferred, in Pharmaceutical or regulated life sciences industries. Experience in a leadership position within a Manufacturing setting required.

•Knowledge of the Commercial and Process understanding, and experience of the Product / Brand they manage is a benefit.

•Proven expertise in data analytics with the ability to effectively communicate insights and tell compelling stories through data.

•Excellent presentation, oral, written and communication skills. Proven capability to manage projects and implement and influence large change management programs.

•Proven ability to handle conflicting priorities to deliver results.

Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
