How you will contribute:Preparing business valuation models and reports Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information Preparing for and participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements Performing detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, analysis of potentially fraudulent transactions, and reconstruction of financial statements Applying technical research skills needed to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data to arrive at a conclusion Delivering Forvis Mazars’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clientsWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Effective time management Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work well with a team as well as independently Problem-solving attitude Willingness to take initiative Close attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines Good organizational skillsMinimum Qualifications: Consultant positions in Forensics and Valuation Services require a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/universityMust have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person Some travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications: GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall) Desire or the ability to sit for the CPA exam Desire to obtain the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteApplicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
