Medica’s Medical Policy Oversight Program Manager serves the critical function of working collaboratively with other departments to develop sound clinical/medical policies that reduce variation in medical and clinical decision-making. The clinical policies developed by the Program Managers are used by Medica's Utilization Management Department and Medica's Medical Directors. Clinical/medical policies are available to all network physicians and members via Medica’s websites.The Medical Policy Oversight Program Manager focuses on researching and evaluating new and changing healthcare technologies in order to interpret published clinical evidence to develop and present clinical recommendations and policies to Medica’s clinical committees comprised of Medical Directors, other clinical leadership, and practicing physicians.Key Accountabilities:

This position is a Remote role. The employee must be located in any state in which Medica is an employer and will work remotely 100% of the time.The full salary range for this position is $67,100 - $115,100. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
