Remote Back End Software Engineer, Inbound Email Product Systems with verification

About The RoleAbnormal Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Inbound Email Products - Systems (IEPS) team. The MSP IEPS team is responsible for Abnormal’s core Inbound Email Security product backend systems, including Remediation and Threat Log (data processing and storage). Our objective is to make Abnormal the top detection engine by enhancing stability and scalability, as well as expanding our product's impact on customers by serving more types of customers.The IEPS team develops and manages essential components of Abnormal’s flagship Email Security product, such as Remediation Flows and Customer Portal Dashboards. This is a back-end focused team and the ideal candidate will have experience working distributed systems at scale.What you will do

• Design & Execute Software Projects which are critical to Abnormal’s success with a group of engineers, through conception, design, implementation, launch & operation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for junior members of the team
• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, Go-To-Market teams in order to implement, verify and iterate on the issues & requests coming from our customers
• Raise the bar of excellence in engineering, actively contributing to knowledge sharing within the team and participating in professional development activities.
