We develop and operate AniLive, a mobile streaming app specifically designed for virtual streamers and their fans in English-speaking countries.
On this platform, streamers can become "AniLivers" with their own avatars, allowing them to start streaming from "anytime, anywhere" and earn income. As viewers, the vertical streaming experience on AniLive enables them to enjoy communication with their favorite AniLivers from a close distance, experiencing a new level of engagement including various gift animations.
With the release of AniLive, our company aims to revolutionize the virtual streaming industry and bring more fun to the global anime/VTuber community!
Position Summary
We are looking for a Community Manager to lead community-building programs. The main goal is to engage and expand our V-streamer and viewer community through various channels, such as our product, social media, and in-person events.
This position is vital in building a new global community where people live as they want to be, from scratch with the team. We expect the community Lead to develop good partnerships with streamers and all stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who can set both quantitative and qualitative goals for the user community and drive their achievement.

What you will do
- Developing a scalable education system for streamers
- Creating a user journal for ongoing engagement
- Establishing and enforcing community guidelines
- Designing internal customer support guidelines, screening processes, and escalation protocols to ensure AniLive remains a safe and fun community
- Managing official social media accounts like Twitter and Discord, and actively engaging with users
- Leading Focus group to gather user insights and understand their needs
- Team management
- Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku!
- 3+ years experience in community management for communication services or online games.
- 1+ year experience in managing 3+ members
- Business level English is required
- Deep understanding of streaming culture; the community lead needs to love our app and the community!
- Project management experience
- Experience in building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using Discord, Notion, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
- Possess knowledge and experience in marketing and branding, public relations, customer service and technical support, product development and quality control, as well as sales and business development
- Streamer experience and organizing fan events — we highly expect the community lead to become the symbolic person of our product!
- Previous work experience in a startup
- Experience being the 1st member of community management
- Experience with multicultural members
- Fully remote work environment

- Company off-sites 2x a year held in Japan
