Responsibilities
- Design and manage the data migration process for Pharmaceutical Labs, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects
- Gather user requirements and design/architect solutions that cater to their needs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including the storage team and networking team, to ensure seamless project completion
- Develop high-level, low-level end-end infra design using tools like draw.io
- Ensure On-premise infra design and On-Premise to cloud connectivity is sound
- Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning, with a focus on Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes
- Ensure cloud security knowledge and experience in Cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP) are sound
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning and data migration, with a focus on Amazon Web Services or Systems Engineering
- Expertise in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects
- Understanding of On-premise infra design and On-Premise to cloud connectivity
- Knowledge of Networking Terminology (On-promise/Cloud), including experience in Cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP)
- Proficient in Linux, with experience in terraform, CloudFormation, compute, ECS, ECR, EKS, RDS, compute, server migration service, and data migration service
- Experience with containerization technology such as Docker and related management systems such as Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project completion
- Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with team members and stakeholders
- Experience/knowledge of providing IT Support to Pharmaceutical Labs
