Solution Marketing Specialist - IT Services


Billennium seeks a Solution Marketing Specialist to join our global Marketing & Demand Generation team.


As a Solution Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing marketing content to effectively communicate the value of our services to target customers. This role bridges the gap between service delivery and sales by understanding customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.

The Solution Marketing Specialist ensures that information about our solutions and services is always up to date and ready for use by customer-facing teams. You will also ensure alignment, strategic positioning, and messaging of the Billennium service and solution portfolio and collaterals.

You will join the Content Creators team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing strategy, competence centers, business delivery, sales, and communications, to drive service adoption and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience creating content for IT services - experience as a Product Marketing Specialist is also an asset - and can effectively translate IT concepts from our services into marketable content and assets.


Key Responsibilities:


Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis - specifically for the pharma, finance, and public sectors.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor services, strategies, and market performance to identify competitive gaps and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to inform service positioning and marketing strategies.

Service Positioning & Messaging:

  • Develop a long-term portfolio strategy and create the value proposition of our services and competencies.
  • Create compelling messaging and positioning to differentiate our service in the market.
  • Collaborate with IT and Business Delivery teams to ensure that our capabilities, competencies, and benefits are clearly communicated.
  • Craft clear, consistent, and engaging content for all marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Produce and manage marketing collaterals, including brochures, presentations, videos, and case studies.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand client satisfaction and areas for improvement, and use customer insights to refine our messaging and inform future service delivery.

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop strategies and content to support the sales team in effectively communicating the value of our services.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales team on developments, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Assist in creating collaterals for our solutions, services, and areas of expertise.
  • Help the sales department prepare documentation for offers, RFP, and tenders.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Solid understanding of the IT service delivery process- specifically for Staff Augmentation, Technology Solutions and Managed Services.
  • Deep knowledge of AI, Data, Cloud, and Software Development solutions. Knowledge about Validation and Integration solutions will be a plus.
  • Technology background and experience working with and writing about technical concepts.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and service positioning.
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Excellent analytical skills in interpreting data and translating it into actionable assets.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Creative thinker with high proficiency in content creation and developing marketing materials.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in the B2B market will be a plus.
