Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator Intern to join our Applications & PMO team. This entry-level position will support the Manager in coordinating various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in project management, team collaboration, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the project team to eliminate blockers.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Support the development and implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in project management or a related field.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Hands-on experience in project coordination and management.
