The role of a Product Specialist.
Role and responsibilities:
- Understand Dental Monitoring's value proposition and the significant impact on the workflow of a dental or orthodontic practice.
- Partner with clients and KOLs to understand their growth objectives and current challenges.
- Identify and maintain relationships with influential clients.
- Establish segmentation of the given territory to identify key opportunities and accelerate new client acquisition.
- Drive strong sales growth in new business by acquiring new customers, and reach the full potential in all current customer bases.
- Participate in trade shows, both local and international.
- Organize and/or participate in local and national events, webinars, training or study clubs.
- Propose new and innovative ways to promote the dissemination and adoption of Dental Monitoring technologies.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and competition.
- Partner with the marketing department on social media and targeted marketing campaigns to drive sales.
- Full utilization of the Sales Force CRM system to report on activity.
- Train, coach and support newly acquired customers, re-launch and accelerate existing customers who would not be growing.
- Travel and provide strong clinical support throughout the customer adoption journey. Prioritize based on each customer situation.
- Create dedicated orthodontic clinical protocols in each new practice introduced to DM solutions.
- Build and execute strategic account plans.
- Work and communicate within a multidisciplinary team and with customer service.
- Generate and manage an increase in the number of active accounts in the territory.
Information security
- Be aware of their own responsibility regarding information security
- Perform their work according to the applicable policies and procedures
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Report any observed or suspected weaknesses in our ISMS and any information security incident
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience in the orthodontic, dental or medical device industry
- Demonstrated success in a training/education/clinical role, either having worked in an orthodontic (or failing that, dental) practice or having worked in the medical device or medical visit industry.
- Ability to influence and generate interest in new approaches
- Good understanding of the conceptual and consultative approach to sales
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of computer literacy and a strong appreciation for new technologies
- Ability to establish and maintain positive mutual partnerships with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or scaleup environment
- Notions of change management
