We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UI automation using Cypress with TypeScript, performance testing using K6, API testing with Postman, and accessibility testing using tools like Wave and AudioEye. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and accessibility of our web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
- Conduct performance testing using K6, analyze results, and provide optimization recommendations.
- Perform API testing using Postman, including validation of request/response, workflows, and error handling.
- Execute accessibility testing using tools like Wave and AudioEye, ensuring compliance with WCAG standards.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Cypress and TypeScript for UI automation.
- Proficiency in K6 for performance testing.
- Solid understanding of API testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and tools like Wave and AudioEye.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools or frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud platforms.
