Job Overview:
The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Analyst will be responsible for leading the assessment, integration, and optimization of advanced manufacturing technologies across the Army Materiel Command’s Organic Industrial Base (OIB). This role serves as a senior technical authority responsible for driving modernization initiatives, enhancing production efficiency, and ensuring the long-term manufacturing readiness of facilities that produce, overhaul, and sustain critical weapon systems.
In the position, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Analyst will collaborate closely with engineering teams, program offices, and OIB leadership to evaluate system designs for manufacturability, recommend process improvements, and guide the implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Applying deep technical expertise to a diverse network of 21 geographically dispersed OIB depots and arsenals, each responsible for manufacturing, assembling, remanufacturing, and repairing a wide variety of weapon systems and components.
- Analyzing existing processes, identifying opportunities for advanced technology integration, and developing comprehensive technical roadmaps to guide these facilities toward modern, digitally enabled, and highly efficient manufacturing operations.
- As a senior technical contributor, will identify, evaluate, and deploy new technologies to improve production capability and process reliability. Will also maintain active coordination with DoD stakeholders, industry experts, academic institutions, and other technical authorities to ensure that the OIB remains aligned with cutting-edge manufacturing methods and emerging best practices.
- Additionally, will support the identification and application of new manufacturing technologies specifically relevant to the production and remanufacture of small, unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) and other advanced weapon systems. This includes assessing industrial base needs, developing technology transition strategies, and advising OIB facilities on the optimal adoption of innovative processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related technical discipline.

- Experience supporting or developing manufacturing processes related to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or other complex weapon systems.
