Summary/Objective

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Sales Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Department’s daily operations, providing essential communication and support to ensure smooth and effective execution of campaigns and initiatives. You will collaborate with members of the marketing department, business development, sales, vendors, and other departments to help develop and ensure that best-in-class support is provided to our internal and external customers.

Salary for this position will be around $55,000 per year or above, commensurate with experience. 

Essential Functions

  1. Coordinate communication with branches and internal departments for distribution of marketing and sales materials
  2. Monitor and assign incoming requests from the sales team
  3. Team project and initiative support
  4. Manage the Marketing Teams event/promotion calendar
  5. Assists in communication & PR development and/or coordination
  6. Maintain shared marketing resources
  7. Track marketing performance metrics and report on campaign results
  8. Facilitate various sales, vendor and customer reports
  9. Utilize and manage outside resources (key vendors or agencies) as needed to accomplish program objectives
  10. Help plan and execute customer events, trade shows, and training sessions
  11. Organization and tracking of promotional merchandise inventory
  12. Perform other related duties and assignments as required
  13. Complete all tasks within expected deadlines

        Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
        This is an hourly, full-time position based out of our Brockton, MA location. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.

        Physical Demands
        The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

        This is largely a stationary role but involves climbing stairs in many of our branch locations; however, some material management is required. This would require the ability to lift light boxes and materials as necessary. The employee may be required to sit for long periods of time but will also be expected to do on-site/field work such as tradeshows, training and events.

        Travel
        Some regional travel will be required @20%

        Preferred Education and Experience

        • Bachelor/associate degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field
        • 1-3 years’ work experience in marketing and sales support
