POSITION SUMMARY:

 As a Program Manager at ADDMAN’s Glen Burnie, MD facility, you will serve as the primary customer and internal liaison for programs supporting Aerospace and Defense customers. You will oversee all phases of program execution—from contract award through delivery—ensuring customer satisfaction, technical excellence, and financial performance. This role requires a high level of collaboration across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to meet demanding customer requirements in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. The Program Manager will balance strategic oversight with tactical execution to deliver world-class performance and drive continuous improvement across all assigned programs. 

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Works with limited oversight leading projects and programs by developing and executing plans, schedules and budgets
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact for all assigned programs, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Lead program planning, scheduling, and performance tracking to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to plan resources, manage production schedules, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Oversee contract and scope management, including change control, cost analysis, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure adherence to ADDMAN’s program management processes maintaining accurate and timely program documentation.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to leadership and customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on key program metrics (on-time delivery, margin, quality performance, etc.).
  • Regularly report to executive leadership and the broader organization the projects status and performance.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in program and/or project management  
  • Prior experience in precision machining/injection molding/additive manufacturing preferred
  • Successful candidate will be highly adaptable, assertive, and independent in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to convey technical concepts and business impact to a diverse audience
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship and must be an eligible U.S. Person
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, active clearance preferred 
  • Experience with Aerospace component development, transition into production, and entry into service.
  • Experience with complex product development / management, production of aerospace component development, and component manufacturing.
  • Experience with logic linked scheduling, cost account management and budget management
  • Knowledge of CAD (Mechanical Desktop, Solidworks)
  • PMP Certification and Six Sigma or Lean Training preferred

  

Work Environment:

The role requires frequent interaction with manufacturing operations, where PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. Typical plant conditions with ambient temperature, standard lighting, and machining equipment in use.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and movement throughout manufacturing areas. May involve accessing or observing equipment in confined or elevated spaces, following all safety procedures.
