Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and community activities.
- Maintain communication with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each event.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, and transportation arrangements.
- Help create and manage event timelines and budgets to ensure successful execution.
- Work collaboratively with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and maintain relationships.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event planning software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for event scheduling.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment.
