Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive high retention and satisfaction.
Collaborate with producers to manage both new and renewal business, including marketing and placement strategies.
Conduct detailed exposure analysis and provide expert advice on coverage needs and solutions.
Manage a diverse book of commercial accounts, with an emphasis on real estate, as well as construction, tech, manufacturing, and other sectors.
Serve as the primary contact for underwriters, developing productive carrier relationships.
Review and understand policy language, coverage forms, rating methods, and claims procedures.
Maintain account files, client documentation, and service activities within the Applied EPIC system.
Meet all internal deadlines and client commitments with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Manages a diverse book of 10–20 mid-to-large commercial accounts across industries such as real estate, construction, manufacturing, food & beverage, retail/wholesale, tech, and renewable energy, with an average revenue of $700k+ and growth potential to $1MM+.
Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or equivalent combination of education and training.
7+ years of experience in commercial lines account management within an insurance agency setting.
Proven expertise managing medium to large commercial accounts, especially real estate portfolios.
Applied EPIC experience highly preferred.
California Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
Professional designations (CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, CRM) strongly preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and customer service excellence.
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $95K to $125K per year.
