Overview:
Flexcraft is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. The ideal candidate will bring a quality background and expertise in a plastics environment, and a commitment to manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the quality control process, reviewing products, materials, and processes
- Conduct inspections, tests, audits, and document results
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and ensure product specifications are met
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive quality-related decisions
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain accurate records of quality tests and improvement initiatives
- Develop and track key quality metrics
- Communicate quality standards and improvement strategies across teams
- Provide training on quality standards and control techniques
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Qualifications:
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Project management experience from conception to completion
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
