What You’ll Be Doing:

The HCM Business Systems Analyst will work on projects that make processes more efficient and employees more productive.  Core responsibilities include gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical design documents and wireframes as well as writing and executing test scripts. You will become the subject matter expert on how your business partners use our software.  You will work in a dynamic team with consultants, developers and other business systems analysts to deliver tools that enable your business partners to be successful.  

  • Works closely with teammates and business partners to analyze and document business requirements for projects and software customizations or configurations.  Translates business requirements into functional and technical requirements for development staff.
  • Understands data relationships and can write basic SQL statements.  Can analyze and compare datasets and look for trends, issues, or areas for improvement.    
  • Implements and manages standard testing procedures for system changes. Creates, reviews and executes test plans and validates that it meets the business and technical requirements.  Responsible for proper tracking of test results.
  • Reviews software upgrades, presents new features to business partners, tests new functionality, and assists with creating training documentation.
  • Responsible for acquisition activities as it relates to data conversion.  This includes gathering, formatting, loading and auditing data for newly acquired properties.
  • Provides assistance to IT Support to review issues reported from users.  Compares data from multiple sources to determine and reconcile discrepancies, determines cause of errors and establishes procedures to correct them.
  • Provides project management to coordinate efforts between business partners and IT.  Delivers clear communication on status, timing, deliverables, and budget to leaders, team members, stakeholders, etc.
  • Responsible for demonstrating a willingness to challenge the status quo in previous assignments.
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.  Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need to Thrive:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or computer science, and previous business analysis and/or project management experience is preferred.  
  • Must be adept with the Google Platform, Microsoft Office suite of products and Oracle HCM Cloud technology, and have the ability to quickly master additional data collection and management software. 
  • Required competencies: Information Gathering, Conceptual Thinking, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Managing Work Efficiently, Requires strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Minimum of 2 years supporting Oracle EBS. HCM 
  • Consulting background strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to understand and document requirements, process mapping, and  business workflow.

 

Machines, Tools and Equipment, Software:

Must be adept with the Google Platform, Microsoft Office suite of products and Oracle HCM Cloud technology, and have the ability to quickly master additional data collection and management software.  Must be proficient in creating/executing SQL queries and possess thorough understanding of relational database concepts.

Salary:  $94,355 - $110,000 / year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual 10.5% target bonus is provided.

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.

Working Conditions: Work Environment: This position is 100% remote (work from home) in a market/state where the Company currently operates its business.

PHYSICAL AND VISUAL ACTIVITIES:  Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and quickly, including answering phones, attending meetings, written correspondence or other forms of communication.  Ability to communicate effectively (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken or written word).  This skill/ability is important in work activities in which workers must impart or receive detailed information through oral or written communication.
