Pay range: $23.75 - $29.00/hr. depending on experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm
Under general supervision, the Sales Assistant may act as receptionist; provide support services to the sales and marketing department of a retirement community including typing, word processing, and data entry of contracts, reports, resident data and correspondence with prospective residents.
To be successful in this role, you would have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- (1) year of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to perform essential functions of the position
- Strong communication skills- both verbal and written with the ability to present confidently and professionally
- Computer software skills including: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and community lead data base program
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service
A day in the life may look like:
- Serve as the first point of contact by screening initial inquiries and ensuring timely, professional follow-up.
- Set appointments and tours with prospective residents, guests and others
- Greet and give directions or information to residents, team members, visitors, guests and vendors
- Manage and maintain accurate databases, mailing lists, and CRM recorded to support targeted marketing campaigns
- Track lead sources and completes reports on lead tracking as required
- Assist in planning and executing move-ins, ensuring a smooth transition and positive first impression for new residents
- Support apartment readiness by coordinating renovation timelines, prioritizing maintenance work orders, and liaising with contractors
- Meet with all depositors in a personal appointment to review the details of their residence
- Respond to client and resident requests promptly, professionally, and with a service-first mindset
- Participate in pre-move-in meetings with new residents to initiate personalized planning and provide consistent follow-up through onboarding and beyond
