Summary

The Assistant Site Merchant plays a critical role in supporting the execution of digital merchandising strategies that drive customer engagement, conversion, and revenue across BBW.com. This role is responsible for maintaining the digital shop, activating new products, and ensuring a seamless and inspiring customer experience.

Responsibilities

Site Strategy & Execution

• Support the development and execution of seasonal digital floorsets, including product sequencing, attribution, category page creation, and navigation updates.
• Implement launch plans for new products and categories, including line list management, pricing files, and digital creative requests.
• Lead QA and validation of all product launches, ensuring accuracy of names, descriptions, pricing, and imagery before go-live.
• Maintain and optimize category pages and curated collections to reflect brand, customer, and business priorities.

Analytics & Insights

• Analyze category performance, customer behavior, and site engagement to find opportunities and risks.
• Share actionable insights to improve merchandising tactics and support strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the category expert and key point of contact for cross-functional teams including Omni Merchandising and Planning, Creative, Digital Marketing, and Site Operations.
• Provide category inputs to external marketing campaigns to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance speed, agility, and efficiency.
• Stay informed on competitive trends and best-in-class digital experiences through regular patterning and store visits.
• Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new tools and merchandising capabilities.
