About the Role:

  • Individual contributor equipped to enable transition from legacy monolithic WealthCare Administration platform to the next generation implementation based on distributed architecture.
  • Will work as a key member of our team to provide implementation expertise in development of microservices within a team as well as working across teams.
  • Responsibilities include designing and developing features as well as ownership through deployment.
  • We are looking to welcome into our team a highly motivated engineer with experience architecting, designing, and developing microservices within Azure cloud.
  • Works with the team in solving technological challenges

About you:

  • 6+ years' professional software development experience
  • 4+ years' experience building modern, distributed web applications. This experience should have a focus on microservices architecture including Kubernetes deployment / Containerization and tasks such as API design
  • 3+ years' experience contributing to the architecture and design (design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and existing software
  • 4+ years' C# development experience, preferably Core 3.1 and/or .NET 5+
  • 2+ years' experience working with ASP .NET
  • Strong understanding of data storage software and design, including both RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
  • Should have good understanding in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Database design, development and good knowledge/experience in SQL scripting and using SQL Server 2012/2014 or higher versions.
  • Should have worked on complex projects with a record of accomplishment of successful delivery to production
  • Strong desire to be hands-on in code and to learn and work with new technology on the fly
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience collaborating across disciplines and communicating with non-technical team members
  • Demonstrable experience in architectural patterns, microservices, messaging/event driven frameworks such as Kafka/EventHub/ServiceBus and enterprise databases
  • Hands-on experience in crafting and developing RESTful and gRPC services
  • Ability and desire to promote and cultivate an environment for innovation

Good to Have

  • Desired experience in .NET 4.0/4.5,C#, ASP.NET,WCF Services RESTful Services, ASP.NET Web API, LINQ (Language Integrated Query), entity framework, database performance optimization,.NET Core applications and Building .NET Microservices using Dapr.
  • Experience working on client-side scripting e.g., JavaScript, jQuery, Node JS(Optional).
  • Work experience over the Azure Cloud concepts – AKS(CI/CD), Service Bus, Azure SQL DB, Blob storages and Azure Redis Cache
