Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Product Data and Documentation activities through PLM tools (Teamcenter).
• Execute release processes for automotive components and electronic systems (hardware & software).
• Handle Change Management, Variant Control, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management activities.
• Ensure compliance with Daimler Norms, DBL standards, and related processes (DIALOG and SMARAGD – optional).
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and intercultural teams, including German counterparts.
• Utilize CAD tools (NX) for design data management and validation support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in Product Data Management (PDM) and Documentation Release using PLM tools (Teamcenter).
• Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control, and BOM Management.
• Exposure to release processes for automotive and electronics components (hardware/software).
• Familiarity with Daimler systems such as DIALOG, SMARAGD, and adherence to DBL standards (optional).
• Basic know-how of CAD tools like NX.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intercultural experience: minimum one year of onsite experience or working exposure with European clients, preferably Germany.
• German language proficiency will be an added advantage.
• Team player with the ability to take ownership of individual responsibilities.


Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Working experience with Daimler tools (DIALOG, SMARAGD) and DBL standards.
• Exposure to global or European projects, especially with German teams.
• Basic German language knowledge or certification.
