GENERAL SUMMARY
The Revenue Analyst, for PTG Consulting is an integral part of the client success journey. This position is responsible for the optimal use and troubleshooting of PTG Consulting’s portfolio of hotel clients’ revenue related technology. The duties will include identifying, troubleshooting and resolving system challenges and interfaces between systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for preparing all required client reporting and analytics, system maintenance and audits to ensure optimal set up in support of revenue optimization.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Revenue Strategy, the Revenue Analyst, works with PTG Consulting’s revenue management team including Vice President, Directors and Managers. The Revenue Analyst will also interact with the following departments within Preferred Travel Group: Data Services; Central Services; Direct Connect; and PROS.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Reporting & Analytics:
a. Consistently manage, analyze and deliver hotel statistical reports. Reports will be used to determine appropriate distribution and pricing strategies to drive maximum revenues into the hotels.
b. Prepare all required content, statistics and information for the weekly client revenue meetings.
B. Technology Optimization:
a. System Troubleshooting: To troubleshoot and resolve revenue related technology challenges as it relates to system use, data and content interfaces/flow, and hotel bookability. This includes PMS, CRS, RMS and related interfaces.
b. System knowledge: Be the go-to person to provide knowledge and expertise on various PMSs, CRSs, RMSs and their related interfaces, ensuring optimal set up and operational use of each.
c. System maintenance: Load and manage rate codes in all applicable systems, including rate configuration, rate pricing, rate mapping and rate optimization.
C. PTG Consulting Projects.
a. Work on assigned client engagements as needed.
b. Assist the PTG Consulting Division with consulting projects as it relates to Revenue Management & Distribution Services, under supervision from the PTG Consulting Division.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum two years on-property front office or reservations experience is required.
- Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of various PMSs and CRS systems is required.
- Excellent relationship building skills; customer service oriented; ability to manage multiple tasks; analytical ability to interpret statistical data.
- Worker characteristics are normally acquired through the completion of a university degree program or related hotel/travel industry experience.
- Completion of HSMAI’s Certified Revenue Management Analyst (CRMA) {to be complete within 8-months if new hire}.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role will be based out of our Preferred Travel Group office in either New York City, Washington DC or Chicago, IL. With our in-office philosophy, our associates are expected to be in the office at least three days per week, supporting a healthy balance between in-person collaboration and flexible remote work.

SALARY
$55,000 - $60,000 annually; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
